Can you believe it?

The generally recognized history painter Delaroche in Paris (the art center of the world at that time) who paints pictures with so gigantic sizes (up to 27 meters as we have seen before), feels threatened with his whole work by photographs in black and white (daguerreotypes) sized not more than 21,6 x 16,2 cm, miniatures in comparison to his paintings.

At this moment becomes apparent again once more that size is not important.
Forgotten in our contemporary art with its big sized pictures…
